Bad bad blogger me, hasn't blogged since last Thursday. I've been busy nesting though . . . the new baby's room is far from ready, but at least the little one will have a cute little knitted hat to wear. The one of the left just needs a tassle added to the end of the long tail. I discovered knitting in the round last winter when I picked up a copy of Amanda Keeys Baby Beanies book, and haven't looked back.
And more winter capes from last week that just need the yoyo button added before they are finished. I am in love with this fabric for these capes - its not wool, but just as warm. A beautiful Rayon Jacketing fabric I discovered in Spotlight from last Winter in Red and Grey - perfect for wrapping around little shoulders over a gorgeous little pinny in winter. And best of all, no itch! And I have discovered the larger sizes I have made fit me quite well too ; )
Available in sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 Years, a select few will go up in the store this weekend with the rest I am saving for the Easter Markets.
Now if only the weather in our part of Australia would start cooling down so I could get some gorgeous wintery photos done of my new winter pieces. I am very much looking forward to the cooler weather!
Check out lots of other wonderful creative spaces HERE : )
