A little elephant

Today I had my first go at doing an applique on a t-shirt and now am wondering why on earth I had put it off for so long. A quick and easy project to jazz up a plain t-shirt using scraps of fabric from your stash! This little elephant is one of many pictures I have drawn in my 'thinking' book of ideas and designs - my original idea was for a softie but I think he looks equally as cute on this little tshirt for Miss M.There will definitely been lots more of these getting whipped up in the weeks to come!

  1. Anna it looks really sweet - I love appliques - they are great for personalising plain items and also using up scraps as you mentioned.
A quick, easy inexpensive presentthat people love too.

  5. That looks fabulous! An elephant was my first tshirt applique as well. Its great fun and makes your tees so much more original. Can't wait to see what else you come up with as I love everything else you've been doing.

  6. Gorgeous! I think any simple design looks fabulous appliqued on a top when special pretty fabrics are used, and you certainly have the eye for fabric!
