Mum popped over today keen to learn how I make the fabric buttons and help out with market preparations for this Friday nights market I have. Only a 3 hour market from 6-9pm but if we go by the last one that was run in winter, it will be a huge night with a big crowd.
So, I showed mum how to make the buttons and she got busy making badge buttons and small flatbacks ready to turn into bracelets - well done mum!
And while mum was busy doing that and watching Master T while Miss M slept I got busy rag quilting again - very addictive and a fantastic way to use up my fabric scrap stash and those little pieces of batting that I didn't know what to do with. These 3 pretty quilts all measure approx 30 x 30 inches, are backed with pretty flannel, and will be great as pram/travel/comfort quilts. They will be available for purchase at Friday nights market and what doesn't sell I'll pop into my madeit store over the weekend.
Oh wow, these buttons and badges are _gorgeous_!! As are the quilts and everything else you do, oh talented one... But the buttons have 'got' me :-) Want some!! Happy Blogtoberfest!
